WEST FARLEIGH COMMUNITY CENTRE

Proposal
In the 1970's West Farleigh had the offer of land on which to build a Community Centre, or Village Hall as they were then known, in the village. A substantial amount of money was raised but the plans fell through.

In 2004 the offer of another plot of land on which to build a Community Centre became a reality and the Parish Council, with the support of the parishioners, has put in place the measures required to build a Community Centre. A Committee of enthusiastic Parishioners has been formed and will be pushing forward with this project. Have a look at the proposal here.

If you can offer help in any way then please let us know. We would be pleased to have offers of help in any areas required to build a Community Centre, for example, compiling Parish or Business Plans, Project Managers, Groundwork's Contractors, Bricklayers, Carpenters, Electricians, Tilers, Plumbers, Landscapers and Gardeners, Companies who can provide kit form Community Centres etc, etc.

We would also like to hear from you if you would like to use our Centre for regular meetings once it is up and running. Any evidence we can show of a need for the Centre and of being able to hire it out at competitive rates will be very helpful in any funding bids that we make.

Contact the Parish Clerk here Mrs Amanda Broadhurst for updates and to offer help. Please come back regularly to find out how we are getting on.
