From junction 6 on the M20 take the A229 into Maidstone and then take the B2010 towards Tonbridge. The White House inn lies along this road, approximately 4 miles from the centre of Maidstone.

Found in a beautiful setting in the village of West Farleigh and surrounded by acres of countryside and woodland, The White House is a charming old inn that dates back to the early 1800s. Originally just a beer house, with a blacksmiths forge to the rear, the buildings have been extended over the years but, to the back, the early 19th century part can still be seen. Hard to miss, as the inn is, literally, a white house, this marvellous place has been owned and run by Janet and Arthur Morris since the early 1970s. A lovely couple who have certainly made the inn their own, the well maintained exterior hides a wealth of interest inside. The low beams decorated with hop bines and the ancient fireplaces give the inn a true olde worlde appearance that is enhanced by the mass of memorabilia that hangs from both the walls and ceilings.
Highly recommended locally, The White House is a very popular inn with many in the West Farleigh area. Well known for the high quality of the drinks served from the bar, there is also a splendid range that includes their speciality - real ales. Food too is available, although this is really a drinking pub, and Janet is always happy to put together a snack or light meal for anyone feeling peckish. However, what makes The White House such a special place to visit is the warm welcome that is extended to everyone - locals, visitors and families, even the family dog. In addition if you are planning any celebration or function The White House can offer licensed bar and outside catering for weddings, dances, parties, barbecues etc. They also run mobile bars for boot fairs, fetes and shows.
