UK Parish Councils
are empowered to look after items in their Parish such as footpaths,
hedge and verge trimming, cemeteries etc. West Farleigh Parish Council has been in existence since
1894. Historical details of
the members of the Council can be obtained from the Parish Clerk,
Mrs Vikki Stancombe.

The Parish Council meets
two monthly. Agenda and venue details are normally published in LifeLine
and displayed on notice boards at the church and on the village green two weeks beforehand. All parishioners
are welcome to attend the Parish Council meetings.
The dates for the Parish Council meetings for 2009 are
as follows:-
January 19th 2009, March 16th 2009, May 18th 2009, July
20th 2009, September 21st 2009 & November 16th 2009
These are the third Monday in every other month. All
meetings currently take place at All Saints Church at 7.30pm.
