TUTSHAM OIL MILL

On the south bank of the Medway at Teston Lock stands the ruin of Tutsham Mill.

This was also known as the West Farleigh Oil Mill because oilcake for cattle feed was manufactured here.

The mill was burnt down in 1885 but the ruins are still visible today, although due to the growth of the trees they are not visible in this picture.

More details to follow.

Position of West Farleigh Oil Mill Ruins
