Lorna would like to know if her own and her sisters names are in the christening
books for West Farleigh. They were christened in 1940 & 1942. Her Grandmother was also buried in the churchyard.
She is planning to visit in the summer. If you can help please contact
Lorna here. Reginald Smith was her
father and her mother was called Winifred. Lorna and her sister Irene were
born at Pembrey Hospital, Tunbridge Wells, and christened in West Farleigh
Church. Her Nan, who is buried at the church was Mrs. Wilson and she lived with
George Wilson. They both worked on the Days Farm, and her Nan lived there all
her life. Lorna and her sisters and brother spent all their summer holidays on
the Days Farm. Lorna would like to hear from anyone who remembers her or her
