Gordon Clark and Jodie Roberts are
both interested in the Roberts and Spice families from Coxheath, West Farleigh and Goudhurst.
Gordon has carried out some research as
follows:-
"My great grandmother Ann Spice
was born 5 October 1859 in Coxheath, West Farleigh. Her birth certificate
records her mother's name as Mary Spice and from the 1881 census I believe that
she too was born in West Farleigh about 1839. No father is shown on the birth
certificate.
"I believe Mary had another child called Sally Spice and then 11
other children with the surname Roberts following a marriage to Thomas Roberts
on 28 November 1860 in Goudhurst.
"I would be interested in
corresponding with anyone who can help me with either the Roberts or the Spice
family as I would like to understand more about Mary's situation."
