From John - I am trying to trace
the birth record, and ultimately, the parents of a James Martin. James
was apparently born in WEST FARLEIGH in 1823. He later married an Ann Jukes
in 1843, and is found living in East Farleigh with his family in the 1851
census. Prior to this 1851 record, I can find nothing else on him. I have been
to West Farleigh church and found a couple of Martin graves, but no link. I have
found the graves of his son and granddaughter in East Farleigh. Has anyone come
across any reference to him ? I would appreciate any help or advice with the
