Vanessa Webber would like some help with a possible Hugenot connection.She
has managed to trace her family back to Francis Lemmy, who married Jane
Sotherden in West Farleigh, on 17th October 1689. She is descended from one of
his two sons, John (the other was Francis). Vanessa has been unable as yet to
view the parish records for West Farleigh and has been unable to trace back any
further. There is talk in the family of a French connection, possibly Hugenot,
but she has been unable to prove this.
