From Gillian Staniforth - My
mother's maiden name was Gibbons, her father's name, Frank Gibbons and
grandfather, John Gibbons. I have just come across a bible which my mother never
saw. We knew her father's family came from Kent, there is a long list of names
in it, but on the back cover there is written "Rose Gibbons, West Farleigh,
near Maidstone. July 1888". I wonder if you could help me a little, please.
As I live in Wales it is a little far to go but worth it if the name appears
anywhere. Thanks.
