| Bryan
turns large vessels and vases using the natural shape of the log to
produce intricate shapes to the rims and by turning the walls extremely
thin it encourages the viewer to handle the object and to really
appreciate the natural beauty of the timber.
Fruitwood such as apple, pear and cherry which are grown in abundance in Kent, and holly, ash and yew are his favourites. |
